This year, despite having the smallest of gardens, we've managed to keep ourselves in fresh greens and tomatoes for most of the summer. It's amazing the difference in the taste when you go an pick a salad just before you eat it! Who'd go back to the limp bags the supermarkets supply. This way we've been eating mostly raw through until the evening when we may have a low-fat vegan cooked meal (with a huge salad of course). For those people that find a completely raw diet too much, this is a great way to eat - especially as the cold weather approaches. Supplement any raw and cooked foods with green juices and green smoothies and you'll be well on the way to a healthy winter.
